Evoca Group chooses Columbus Logistics for integrated logistics management

A single logistics partner covering everything from production supply to spare parts and finished goods management. This is the core of the collaboration between Evoca Group, a world-leading manufacturer of professional coffee machines and vending machines, and Columbus Logistics, a business unit of Columbus Group.

Launched in late 2025, the project has gradually expanded to cover several areas of the supply chain for Evoca Group, whose products are distributed in more than 140 countries.

The collaboration began with the in-house warehouse supplying the Valbrembo manufacturing plant, which became operational in December 2025. In January 2026, Columbus Logistics took over management of the spare parts warehouse in Cenate, followed in February by supply operations for the Mapello plant. Finished goods management was added in April, initially in Grassobbio, before moving to Columbus’s Telgate warehouse, where outbound shipments began on 25 August.

The project involves approximately 40 people across Columbus’s operations and coordination teams, bringing together a range of logistics processes and expertise.

Supporting manufacturing operations requires a high degree of precision and coordination. Production lines must receive the right quantities at the right time to keep manufacturing running smoothly and efficiently.

Spare parts management calls for a different set of specialist skills. The Cenate warehouse spans approximately 3,500 square metres and handles 13,000 SKUs, supporting the strategically important after-sales service function.

The preparatory phase for finished goods management was equally thorough. Over approximately two months, a cross-functional team of operations and IT specialists analysed activities, processes and operational scenarios, developed the necessary interfaces, and carried out user acceptance testing (UAT) and live testing to ensure that systems and operational workflows were fully aligned.

The move to Columbus’s Telgate warehouse, completed on 24 August, marked the final stage of the project. A dedicated customs area was also set up at the new site for finished goods exports.

The value of the collaboration lies in bringing different logistics requirements together under unified management. Production supply, spare parts and finished goods each require specific expertise and approaches. Columbus Logistics combines these capabilities to give Evoca Group a single point of contact, with the aim of optimising flows and improving overall service quality.

The project reflects Columbus Group’s approach: developing tailored solutions with expertise, flexibility and attention to detail, supporting customers in their day-to-day operations and as they grow.
