Columbus Logistics alongside Conte Vistarino for the logistics management of Oltrepò Pavese wines
Columbus Logistics is pleased to announce the collaboration established with Conte Vistarino Società Agricola Società Semplice, a historic winery in the Oltrepò Pavese region and a benchmark in the production of Pinot Nero, a true symbol of Italian winemaking excellence.
Founded in the second half of the 19th century, Conte Vistarino is recognized as the birthplace of Pinot Nero in Oltrepò Pavese and stands as an example of a tradition that continues to evolve through innovation, sustainability, and deep respect for the land. With more than 200 hectares of vineyards, the winery continues to promote authentic, high-quality Italian wine production.
Starting from February 2025, Conte Vistarino has entrusted Columbus Logistics with the complete management of its logistics operations, embarking for the first time on a full logistics outsourcing journey. Operations are carried out at the Cormano (MI) warehouse, selected for its temperature-controlled areas, essential to ensure the proper preservation of the wines and maintain their qualitative characteristics.
This collaboration represents a significant step in Conte Vistarino’s growth path, entrusting Columbus with a strategic element of its value chain. It is a project that brings together two companies united by a shared focus on quality, attention to detail, and a common vision of excellence — with the goal of ensuring efficient, reliable, and product-respectful logistics management.
