Columbus Logistics at Next Mobility Exhibition 2026: inspiring future talent and driving innovation in logistics
Columbus Logistics took part in Next Mobility Exhibition 2026, the international event dedicated to mobility and transport innovation held at Fiera Milano, contributing to the initiative “Career Orientation in Transport and Logistics”. The program was designed to introduce high school students to the world of logistics through professional testimonials, educational activities and hands-on experiences.
During the morning session, Stefano Bianconi, General Manager of Columbus Logistics, joined the panel discussion “Meeting Transport and Logistics Professionals”, sharing the perspective of a modern 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) provider and highlighting the wide range of career opportunities available today within the logistics sector.
In his speech, Bianconi explained how logistics has become one of the most dynamic and fast-evolving industries, offering concrete and diverse career paths. From warehouse operations and transport planning to data analysis, customer management and technology-driven roles, the sector increasingly requires multidisciplinary skills and provides real opportunities for professional growth.
Drawing on the experience of Columbus Logistics, he also described what it means to work in a modern 3PL company, where teamwork, adaptability and a solution-oriented mindset are key values. A stimulating and fast-paced environment, particularly suited to curious, proactive young people eager to take on new challenges.
In the afternoon, Columbus Logistics also joined the experiential activities hosted in Station C – Logistics 4.0, an exhibition area focused on warehouse automation, cargo traceability and routing and planning software solutions.
On this occasion, Engineer Marco Palatini led an interactive educational session for students through a logistics innovation quiz, engaging participants on the key technological trends shaping the industry. The session also showcased several business intelligence solutions implemented by Columbus Logistics, demonstrating how data analysis and digital tools now play a central role in operational management, process efficiency and strategic decision-making across the supply chain.
