Columbus Confirms EcoVadis Gold Medal and Improves Its ESG Rating

Columbus continues to stand out among the most virtuous companies worldwide in terms of sustainability. The company has once again been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal, further improving its ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) performance.

With a score of 82/100, up from 75/100 in the previous assessment, Columbus ranks in the 97th percentile, placing it among the top 3% of companies evaluated globally by EcoVadis. The new rating also highlights improvements across all assessed areas compared to the previous evaluation.

The EcoVadis assessment is one of the leading international benchmarks for sustainability and evaluates companies’ performance across four key areas: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

This result confirms the path Columbus is pursuing to increasingly integrate ESG principles into its business processes, governance, and supply chain management. In recent years, the company has strengthened its sustainability-related policies, procedures, and monitoring tools, with the goal of making its commitment more structured and measurable.

For customers and partners, this recognition represents an additional guarantee: working with Columbus means relying on a logistics operator that adopts strong ESG standards, structured processes, and a responsible approach to supply chain management.

The confirmation of the Gold Medal therefore represents not only an achievement, but also a motivation to continue along the path of continuous improvement, further strengthening transparency, responsibility, and sustainability in logistics activities and supply chain management.
